The Inferno series holds an unrivaled record in 1/8 scale GP buggy racing. It has continued to evolve since its debut in 1991, and even today the latest MP10 TKI2 is at the forefront of the racing world. With the development of an electric version MP10 TKI2 and the release of the MP10e in 2020, the popularity of 1/8 EP buggy races has exploded and the number and quality of participants is also increasing. To maintain its race advantage, the most competitive elements of the MP10 TKI2 GP model have been incorporated into the evolved form of the MP10e TKI2. With many innovations, the most obvious is the adoption of a new body with aerodynamics to increase speed, especially through medium-speed corners.With the conventional body shape strong through tight corners, the high exit speed can handle all types of layouts from low-speed tracks to high-speed tracks. Longer suspension stroke with updated oil shocks and springs provide improved surface tracking performance. In addition, the EP model neatly arranges the wiring to avoid interference with drive components. Although based on the MP10e, the revised suspension components and gear ratio meet the demands of modern competition. The wire holder also prevents problems due to wire interference.

Shock springs newly developed for the 2022 1/8 GP Buggy World Championship have been incorporated into the MP10e TKI2 EP model to improve stability over road bumps.
Tapered shock pistons change damping shape on contraction and extension for precise response to vibration, while slow return during long stroke minimizes volatile action.
Newly designed motor wire retainer secures the wires connecting the ESC to the motor and prevents wires from interfering with the drive system.
The MP10e TKI2 is equipped with a sensor wire holder that neatly arranges the sensor wires for brushless motors for clean organization and prevention of wire interference in the drive system.
New engine mounts effectively suppress impact between the engine and chassis from contact during jump landings and minimize dents in the engine case.
In keeping with the current trend in 1/8 EP buggies to distribute battery weight between the left and right sides of the chassis, the engine has also been moved forward to move the center of gravity forward to improve manoeuvrability.
The kit features a 15T pinion gear with a lightweight 46T spur gear, previously only available as an option. Straight line speed is increased with the change in gear ratio and the small diameter differential.
